However, the political content is much more concerned with politicians manipulating the media and controlling the information placed before the electorate than it is concerned with the referendum.

Teenage Scottish Author's Stunning Debut Novel

15 year old Scottish author Callum Duffy recently launched his 90,000 word novel.

Callum, said, "Politicians don't always give people straight answers. This is a tale of three people trying to find and reveal the truth. It questions the very nature of democracy, as they get chased around the country by the power of the state. Will they find out what is going on and be able to reveal the truth?"

He’s only 15 but Callum Duffy has already penned his first novel.

Gayle Ritchie speaks to the Broughty Ferry teenager about the processes involved in writing and publishing the book.

It's an age when most boys would choose to hang out with friends or play sports in their free time. But Callum Duffy prefers to listen to classical music and write about politics. Thankfully, all the times he missed out on cinema trips and watching rugby has paid off; after two years of grafting, he’s had his first novel, To Kill The Truth, published.
