Scottish Novel Hits International Markets

The 15 year old Dundee author, whose debut novel To Kill The Truth has been receiving rave reviews since its release just before Christmas, got an unexpected boost this week.

Retailers have made the fast-paced political thriller available internationally, actively marketing it in several countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden and Japan.

To Kill The TruthThe author, Callum Duffy, commented “This is great news for me. Retailers are obviously getting positive feedback about the book. They clearly consider it worth the effort of promoting it in these countries. It was really interesting to see the advertising material in French and German, for example.”

Callum continued, “For the non-English speaking countries it will be regarded as a foreign language book, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on how it does. Setting the plot topically against the backdrop of September’s independence referendum may encourage those readers to take an interest in Scotland’s future.”

To Kill The Truth by Callum Duffy is available from all good bookstores, on-line retailers, and the E-book versions can be obtained from this website.
